The
National Folk Museum of Korea is the liason museum for ICME during
Museums and Intangible Heritage ICOM general conference,
Seoul, Korea, October 2-8, 2004
On October 5, 2004 ICME is invited to come to the National Folk
Museum of Korea, which lies in beautiful
Kyongbokkung
Palace. The visit will include tours of the museum and
palace grounds, attending the opening of a new temporary
exhibition on "wood and paper crafts as intangible heritage",
'hands on' workshops at the adjoining
children's
museum and discussions concerning Eastern and Western forms
